Bio-Dynamics (Wielsbeke) specializes in the construction of concrete tanks for various applications such as water purification, biogas, and the storage of industrial or agricultural raw materials. Over 30 years, the company has built extensive knowledge and experience in water processing and treatment, biomass fermentation, and related environmental technologies. Partly due to the EU’s commitment to biogas (CO2 reduction plan), Bio-Dynamics focuses on the construction of biogas plants in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Ireland, and Spain. Projects are also currently underway in Eastern Europe. Construction is carried out by both our own employees and carefully selected subcontractors and partners. Approximately 250 people are currently working directly and indirectly for the company.

To support the further growth and professionalization of our company, we are looking for an additional colleague:

Lawyer (m/f)

As an in-house lawyer, you’ll provide legal advice to the entire organization: you’ll advise management and colleagues (e.g., sales, project managers, etc.) on various legal topics (e.g., corporate law, contract law, labor law, company law, intellectual property, etc.).
You’ll also draft, review, and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
You’ll ensure compliance with laws and regulations in Belgium and other countries where we operate.
Additionally, you’ll identify legal risks and resolve disputes (resolving or preventing legal disputes).
You’ll report to a fellow lawyer.

Your profile:

• You hold a master’s degree in law.
• You have several years of relevant experience as a lawyer or in a legal position in a (construction) company.
• You’re a versatile, flexible individual with a hands-on mentality. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
• You are technically and administratively strong and have an interest in and/or affinity with construction.
• You work closely with management and proactively contribute to the company strategy.
• You speak Dutch, French, and English. Knowledge of another language is a big plus.
